Travel/Accommodations

• Airfare: Full-coach airfare for one. Doug’s purchases his own air travel so that he can manage any changes to his air travel schedule.
• Hotel-2 nights: Quiet, non-smoking room, without an adjoining door, away from ice machines, elevators, staircases or exits; king-size bed preferred; room to include workout facility, internet/WiFi service, and reasonable in-room meals.  Hotel should be direct billed by client or to master account for event.
• Ground Transportation at Venue: taxi, or client/bureau to pre-arrange car service
• Ground Transportation in Home City to Sacramento or San Francisco airports: Doug’s office will arrange this.
• Reasonable meals

Doug is willing to arrange for capped air travel rates (excludes Canada and Mexico). These can be negotiated in advance and are included as a non-commissionable fee to his contract. This is paid in advance with the speaking fee. Doug suggests the following capped airfare fees:

Western Time Zone – $750
Mountain Time Zone – $1,250
Central Time Zone – $1,500
Eastern Time Zone – $1,950

International travel:  First Class travel for one or business class travel for two, plus 4 nights hotel, ground, reasonable meals, taxes/visas fees.  Air travel fees will be invoiced prior to the event. Hotel (inclusive of reasonable meals) and all venue ground transportation is arranged and direct billed by client.
